Description
Climate change and growing population means that managing flood risk has never been more important. But traditional hard engineering solutions, like building dams and levees, can be expensive and unsustainable. In this video we investigate alternative, nature-based solutions with geographer and flooding expert Dr. Ian Pattison. We explore how an understanding of natural hydrological processes can help guide land use decisions in order to prevent flooding.
