Description
Throughout human history, people have been forced to leave their homes as a result of conflict, persecution and natural perils. But today, there are more refugees than at any time in the past, and this is set to increase as a climate change brings widespread disruption to environments and livelihoods. Being forcibly displaced will likely affect many more of us in the future.
So, how can the international community best support refugees and how are geographers helping to address this challenge?
To find out, The Curious Geographer speaks with Professor Pete Mackie, a leading international expert in housing, homelessness and experiences of refugees.
