Over the past two centuries, education has undergone significant transformations worldwide, but education rates and experiences vary hugely within and between countries. To investigate this, we team up with Dr Matt Finn, a geographer who investigates global education. We explore how patterns of education have changed spatially across the globe and temporally through time, using a combination of time series data and choropleth maps. We discuss why these changes have take place and their implications for new and future generations.
