Carbon is found in all Earth's systems: in the air we breathe, in the ground beneath our feet—it even makes up about 18% of our bodies.
In this video we team up with Dr Tim Lane from Liverpool John Moores University to explore the major stores of carbon on Planet Earth:
- • The rocks and fossil fuels of the lithosphere
- • The water of the hydrosphere
- • The soils of the pedosphere
- • The gases of the atmosphere
- • The living organisms of the biosphere
